Immanuel Pentecostal church is in Townsville, a tropical city in North Queensland, Australia. Townsville has a rapidly growing Indian community with over 500 Malayali families residing here.

we understand that Immanuel Pentecostal Church of God is a church which is affiliated with the Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC) that has a registered office in India and has its IPC Australia Region in Australia.

OUR VISION

As Mathew 28:18-20 says, Then Jesus came to them and said “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of father and of the son and of the holy spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.”

Immanuel Pentecostal Church believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. The Church of God has adopted the following Declaration of Faith as its standard and official expression of its doctrine.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to spread gospel to each member of this city. We aim to build both genuine fellowship within our church family and open door to those around us. As member of our body, we seek to preserve the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3). As a light in our community, we are a place of peace for this in chaos, a place of forgiveness for the guilty and a place of hope for the hopeless.

OUR BELIEF

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead and ascended to heaven. We also believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. We also believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus and in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

CHURCH LEADERSHIP

Pr. Sajimon Sachria, along with his family has been living in this city for the last 12 years doing various ministries through the church working for the nation’s revival in our time.
